Be a part
There is a cry within the heart of so many in our culture to be a part of "something." This is obvious by the popularity of the various social websites.
It
is human nature to be "connected ." We are social creatures because
that is how God created us. God said of Adam in Genesis 2:18, "It is not good that man
should be alone." God also speaks to us in the New Testament book of
Hebrews (Heb.10:25) about "not neglecting to meet together."
God
has given each of us gifts and talents that are to be used to benefit
others. As the Apostle Paul wrote in the book of Ephesians (Eph.4:16),
the
Body of Christ is built up by "what each joint supplies." A joint is
the union of two or more parts.
We are "blessed to be a blessing." Our gifts and talents are to be used for the benefit of all. We believe that this can work best in a small group environment. A small group gives each of us a "safe" place to learn what our gifts and talents are and how to properly use them.
