About us...
God's House is the result of a God-given desire for Bob and Kathy Haught to start a Church out of their home. God's House is based on the "Simple Church" model with a strong emphasis on Body Ministry. There is a current move of the Holy Spirit that is touching people's lives and providing an alternative to the traditional church model. This is not to say that the traditional church model is wrong. This is to say that there is a different way of "doing" church that is reaching and blessing people who might possibly never be reached through the traditional means.
With the encouragement, support, and sponsorship of Battle Ground Foursquare Church and their awesome staff, God's House held it's first service in September, 2009.

Our Vision
The vision of God’s House is to promote
and expand the Kingdom of God by sharing the Good News of Jesus’
sacrificial death for our salvation and deliverance and also to grow in
our knowledge and understanding of God’s Word and in our observance of
Jesus’ teachings.
We believe that the most effective way to accomplish this goal is in home groups where a less formal setting lends to better community, more open fellowship, and increased accountability. We seek to be a place where we might grow in our love of the Lord and in our love for one another that we may grow up into Him as we discover our giftings and God’s grace to walk in them.
To briefly explain, we are each given at least one gift (parable of the talents, Matthew 25). God gives us everything necessary to use these gifts (Ephesians 4:7 and 1Peter 4:10,11). These gifts are given for the building up of the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4).
What tends to happen in the traditional church model is that most of the member’s gifts are not developed because the normal method of ministry has been by a few members to the many. We believe the current move of the Holy Spirit is a return to the many ministering to one another. Our desire is to help each member to discover what their gifting is and then to help them to nurture those gifts into fruition so that the entire Body might benefit.
We call this type of ministry "Body Ministry" and we encourage and assist each other in developing our God given gifts and ministries.
God's House is honored to be a part of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel family of churches.
The name Foursquare represents the four-fold ministries of Jesus and is based upon a vision given to Aimee Semple McPherson, the founder of the Foursquare movement:
Jesus the Savior
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him..." –Isaiah 53:5 (Titus 2:14, Is. 55:7, Heb. 7:25, Is. 1:18)
Jesus the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit
"For John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit... you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." –Acts 1:5,8 (Jn. 14:16-17, Acts 2:4, Acts 8:17, Acts 10:44-46, 1 Cor. 3:16)
Jesus the Healer
"He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses..." –Matthew 8:17 (Mk. 16:17-18, Mt. 9:5-6, Acts 4:29-30)
Jesus the Soon-Coming King
"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout... the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." –1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (Titus 2:12-13, Mt. 24:36-44, Heb. 9:28, Lk. 19:13, Lk. 12:35-37.)

Our Name
We call ourselves God’s House based on Hebrews 3:1-6 where we are told about Jesus’ faithfulness as a Son over God’s “own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.”God's House is honored to be a part of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel family of churches.
